Life Planning Focused on Growing and Protecting

Start Life Planning Today

Welcome to Avaii Wealth Management

Avaii Wealth Management was created based on a few common sense approaches to financial planning and wealth management — put our clients first, provide actionable ideas in an unbiased way, and to speak in a language our clients can understand. This led us to our overarching life planning strategy.

The word "avaii" can be traced back to Latin roots for “life plan” and that’s exactly what we provide. Too often, we see products being sold for the benefit of the provider rather than financial plans and strategies being used for the benefit of the client. Our team dropped the sales approach and focuses on acting in the best interest of every client we serve.

We believe that if we always put our clients first, create and implement plans with our clients based on their goals and dreams, and be genuinely grateful for the trust our clients place in us, we will continue to enhance financial futures and build lasting relationships.

Create a Better Life Plan

We place a premium on planning, so helping you articulate your dreams and goals means we must collect the facts. Our first meeting will be conversational, focusing on your future. We will review what you have put in place up to this point, and help you move forward in the most efficient manner. We are a resource for our clients. We meet consistently with them to ensure we understand their goals, as well as to talk through any unforeseen expenses or cash flow needs.

Our advisory platform allows us to provide investment advice to our clients concerning asset allocation, security selection, and rebalancing. We will work with you to implement an appropriate asset allocation and invest in appropriate securities using mutual funds, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), individual equities, and/or individual fixed income securities that are considered eligible for use in the program. We will monitor the investments on an ongoing basis and make sure they meet our criteria to be recommended for purchase and to continue to be held in your account.

Step

1

Identify Goals

We will guide you through a comprehensive financial profile that will detail your time horizon, potential income needs, risk tolerance, and attitudes toward investing.

Step

2

Create Personalized Investment Policy Statement

Based on the information gained from the financial profile, we will determine an appropriate asset allocation strategy. This strategy is formalized through an Investment Policy Statement (IPS) that helps provide the discipline to follow an investment plan and make decisions free from emotion. This document is the “compass” for the account and can help monitor the progress of the account as well as serve as a springboard to discuss significant changes to your personal or financial situation.

Step

3

Select Investments

We have access to a variety of investment options such as mutual funds, ETFs, stocks, and fixed income securities to complete your asset allocation. Because we know that every investor is different, we have put together different models to fit your needs based on risk tolerance and tax treatment.

Step

4

Review and Monitor

Advanced account servicing tools help us analyze whether an account remains in line with its IPS. We meet with our clients periodically to review any significant changes to your personal or financial situation and help determine whether these changes will require any repositioning of the portfolio.

Services

We understand that financial needs aren’t cookie cutter, so we offer customized solutions to help you reach your goals. Our services include:

Financial Planning for All Stages of Life

In addition to the customizable financial services listed above, we focus on where you are in your life journey. Our process and planning center around and are guided by your current life stage and individual goals; you will never receive a one size fits all plan.

The Foundational Years

You’re focused on building a life and a future. Managing your spending and cashflow, paying off debt, saving, buying a house, vehicles, getting married, starting a family are all examples of priorities during the foundational years. How do you decide where to spend and when to save? It’s time to lay a solid foundation that will serve as the basis for everything to come going forward. The planning begins here.

The Building Years

This is what you do after you’ve set a firm foundation--you build, grow, strengthen. When you get off course, we develop a plan to get you back on track. We help you find the balance between living for today and planning for the future. Our driving force behind your goals and desires are rooted in efficiencies--types of accounts, where to save, where to pay down debt, tax strategies, and so much more that we take into consideration to maximize these years.

The Solidifying Years

Retirement is getting closer now. What was once more like an illusion in the far-off future, is taking shape. You think, “Can I really do it? When is the right time? What will I do about health insurance?” Fine tuning and firming up your plan is pivotal in this stage.

As you approach your retirement date, you can expect to have more frequent meetings with your advisor. The distribution strategy you will use in retirement will be dialed in. Some of the many things we will talk about at this stage includes ACA subsidies, Medicare, when to take Social Security, and every other factor based on your complete financial picture and tax efficiencies.

The Retirement Years

You are retired. You are re-shaping how you spend your time, energy, and perhaps re-learning where your value comes from and adjusting in all kinds of ways to this new life. Now you can take the long trip, spend loads of time with your children and grandchildren, volunteer, bake, fish, read, nap, or whatever you choose whenever you want. Life has shifted.

In our world, these are the distribution years. All those years of accumulation are coming to fruition. You are out of saving mode; it’s time to spend. Where that money comes from, exactly how much, optimizing your tax strategy and how those taxes are paid, and what will happen when you pass are crucial during these years. You’ve worked far too hard for too long to risk running out from inefficient spending. A dynamic, thorough, overarching plan and execution strategy are as vital now as ever.

Definition of overarching:  comprehensive; all-embracing. adjective: overarching

The Further Years

Down the line into retirement, conversations take priority surrounding how and what you want to leave behind-- estate planning, Roth conversions, charitable giving, and other tax advantageous solutions to maximize your impact and your legacy.
