Avaii Wealth Management was created based on a few common sense approaches to financial planning and wealth management — put our clients first, provide actionable ideas in an unbiased way, and to speak in a language our clients can understand. This led us to our overarching life planning strategy.

The word avaii can be traced back to latin roots for “life plan” and that’s exactly what we provide. Too often, we see products being sold for the benefit of the provider rather than financial plans and strategies being used for the benefit of the client. Our team dropped the sales approach and focuses on acting in the best interest of every client we serve.

Christian has been awarded the National Quality Award by NAIFA®, the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, numerous times as well as a ‘Top of the Table’ qualifying member of MDRT- The Premier Association of Financial Professionals®.

Joel has been in the financial industry for several years, having obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™(CFP®) certification. He has performed at a high level in various industry roles, but has thrived in his passions of advanced financial planning and portfolio construction.

He is a registered Investment Advisor Representative, is securities, life, variable, and accident and health licensed, and overseas the investment operations and fee based financial planning for Avaii. This includes executing transactions, on-going monitoring of client portfolios, and extensive investment research.

Having grown up in a blue collar home, Joel was taught to work hard and value the money his family earned. This attitude helps him at Avaii as well as with his own family. When he’s not working, Joel spends time with his wife and three children. In his spare time you’ll find him outdoors, fishing or hunting.

Katie is our first point of contact for clients, from setting up appointments to greeting guests as they arrive at the office. She is focused on learning the unique needs of our clients and adapting Avaii to communicate using the most appreciated and preferential means. She is also developing content to bring an added impact and relevance via our communication streams such as social media, blog, newsletter, ongoing seminars, and more.  Katie also handles all of the marketing and events for the firm as well as identifying growth opportunities by attracting Advisors to the team.  We are proud of what we are doing here at Avaii to impact people and leave a lasting impression on our community. Increasing our reach through Advisors who fit in with our culture and purpose is pivotal to our plan.

Katie comes to us with a strong background in marketing and communications. Her career started in the financial services industry in 2002, as a Financial Rep, where her love for the industry and financial education began. She then transitioned into Corporate Marketing and Client Development until 2009. For the past 10 years, she has been running her own businesses. As an entrepreneur, Katie expanded her skills by growing an internet marketing and product brokerage business as well as a wine brokerage business. She brings a fresh viewpoint, loves to serve and help people know they are treasured. She is passionate about influencing mindsets to embrace a wealth and abundance perspective.

Katie lives in Green Bay with her husband Aaron, Avaii's own Chief Compliance Officer. They met 17 years ago, working together at another financial firm, and married in August of 2019. She is a pet lover, loves to read, and is active at her church, leading their small groups team and teaching leadership classes focused on empowering people to walk in wholeness, purpose, and joy.

These traits allowed success throughout her college career, as she earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Her love for numbers encouraged pursuit of a career in finance and wealth management. Abby enjoys being a part of a team that works so hard to monitor the financial health of its clients.  She is an integral part of the financial planning software process and assists with account services. 

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with loved ones and being outdoors.

Jodi has a combined 15 years of experience in co-owning, operating, and being employed by a small business. Providing a positive client experience by treating clients the way she wants to be treated is very important.

Having spent most of her life in the country, Jodi loves the outdoors. She enjoys walking, hiking, biking, and visiting new places. She also enjoys art, drawing with her daughter, and talking sports cars with her son. Her and her husband enjoy travel, ethnic foods, lattes, movies, hitting some golf balls (not so well), the outdoors, and exploring new things.

Keena has been in the financial industry all of her working life. She earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. She went on to earn her paralegal certificate from Roosevelt University in Chicago.

Keena decided to further her education and credentials by earning her Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) certification. She also holds several securities licenses and her life and health insurance license.

Keena has two grown children and two cats. A long-time Appleton resident Keena now calls Neenah home. She loves to read, garden, and pontificate with friends and family.

We place a premium on planning, so helping you articulate your dreams and goals means we must collect the facts. Our first meeting will be conversational, focusing on your future. We will review what you have put in place up to this point, and help you move forward in the most efficient manner. We are a resource for our clients. Our advisory platform allows us to provide investment advice to our clients concerning asset allocation, security selection, and rebalancing. We will work with you to implement an appropriate asset allocation and invest in appropriate securities using mutual funds, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), individual equities, and/or individual fixed income securities that are considered eligible for use in the program. We will monitor the investments on an ongoing basis and make sure they meet our criteria to be recommended for purchase and to continue to be held in your account.

Create Personalized Investment Policy Statement

Based on the information gained from the financial profile, we will determine an appropriate asset allocation strategy. This strategy is formalized through an Investment Policy Statement (IPS) that helps provide the discipline to follow an investment plan and make decisions free from emotion. This document is the “compass” for the account and can help monitor the progress of the account as well as serve as a springboard to discuss significant changes to your personal or financial situation.

We have access to a variety of investment options such as mutual funds, ETFs, stocks, and fixed income securities to complete your asset allocation. Because we know that every investor is different, we have put together different models to fit your needs based on risk tolerance and tax treatment.

Advanced account servicing tools help us analyze whether an account remains in line with its IPS. We meet with our clients periodically to review any significant changes to your personal or financial situation and help determine whether these changes will require any repositioning of the portfolio.
